Emily F Winfree, LCSW

Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's Degree in Social Work from Florida State University. Emily is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and utilizes trauma focused therapy modalities to help clients work towards becoming the best version of themselves. Emily works best with individuals who have experienced trauma or other disturbing life events that are taking a toll on a person’s daily life. Emily is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Emily has practiced social work in a variety of contexts, including hospital case management, rehabilitating and transitioning ex-offenders back into society, individual and group counseling in the school setting, and crisis intervention. Emily's experience includes trauma, anxiety and mood disorders, substance misuse, interpersonal difficulties, and behavioral issues.
